My poem is my enemy, With an AK-47, I throw a grenade, My poem throws it back.
As I dive for cover, My poem's bullet tears open my leg, As I lie bleeding on the sandy ground, My poem walks over to me. The hot black barrel touches my skin, And burns a circle in my face.
My poem falls because of an unseen force behind him, His blood splattered on my face and on the ground around me, My poem was to be killed by me, But instead,
He falls from my pen.
